since i have a b&m shifter on the floor i dont want that goofy shift on the collum.so my question is can i convert my fairlane collum? i know ill have to modify my neutral safety switch.thanks pete

Yes they fit. I did this on my 64.

You can also cut the shifter mounting point off and smooth it over, then paint.
Or I have a NIB manual coller. If your interested, Shoot me a PM. and I will verify that at I have it still. At work now.

thanks so much for your help.i already have the collar i just hate to waste time taking it all apart to find out it wont fit.my car is actuly a 63 meteor hardtop with a 351 windsor.i had to use fairlane in post since nobody knows what a meteor is.thanks again pete

thankyou for taking the time to write a post.i can now proceed with the transformation.my car is actuly a 63 meteor hardtop with 351 windsor.its just funny even the fairlane repair manual has no info on this collar even though you could get a fairlane with floorshift?
