You might consider if investing in a new carb to simply revert to 4V. The investment increase would be minimal, but would increase value considerably. If your foot is uncontrollable; in order to run as a 2V for economy, simply disconnect the linkage to the rear two barrels. There are many more 4Vs to choose-from, including the very popular (but incredibly expensive) rebuilt 4100s, the Summit 500 (factory equivalent) or 600 (if driving 2V), and many more.
