Can you clarify your traction bars? Are they the Shelby underide bars that weld to the frame rail or the old slapper bars. I have the same year Stang as you w/ 3.55 gears and 4sp. I used to run the slapper bars and old shocks, it did ok on the street but hopped real bad at the track. I replaced the worn shocks w/ kyb's and installed the Shelby underide bars. I also put one inch lowering blocks in the rear. So far on the street it does not wheelhop at all. I have not been to the track yet. hope this helps, i have several pic's on my website of the rear suspension areas, anything i can do to help let me know.

It was a custom install, except for the very rear tubing that goes over the axel. I bought them at Mustang's Unlimited, made by MCA. Thanks,
Yours looks great as well.
