Has anyone run hooked super comp headers or a similar long tube? I want the mid range power benefits that long tubes offer over shortys. Thanks

I put a set of Hooker long tube headers on the otherwise dead stock 428 in my ‘66 LTD. This gave was a substantial gain in low and mid range torque compared to the old log manifolds.

Standard starter, the passenger side has plenty of clearance. The drivers side is tight around the power steering box, but clears. I since changed my steering box to a Borgeson power box, and had give the closest pipe a few good whacks to clearance it. Otherwise, they fit fine.
