I have a 68 F100 "Ranger" I bought for parts for my other 68 F100 w/ I6.

The Local Pick and pull will give me around $380 if I drive it in.

Trying to decide if I should part it out or junk it.

It has a 2BBL 360 V* (runs but with a lifter tick).
Power steering box leeks like a "siv" or it might be a good utility truck as. I rebuilt the carb, put a new water pum and then a power steering pump before I found the deal breaker for me, of the power steering box leak.
Could not pile more money into it.

It has:
A working C6 auto
Huge radiator that has a small leak around the cap area. Most likely just needs a clean up for $60.
Dealer add on Air Conditioning unit.
Nice gauges and knobs and such.
Extra gas tanks
Fenders with no dents and only surface rust.
I am keeping the hood.
Good trim chrome all around for a "Ranger Truck" with logos
I kept the bumpers.
I have a good front bumper because I traded mine for the original ( it was thicker).
Good rearend. I think it is a nine inch on that truck.
Suspension, drive shat all good.

Sooo, is it worth the effort to part it out?
It is easy to take it to pick and pull.

I am in San Jose, CA

any thoughts?

worth it?
I would, but I've got a shop and I don't mind the labor.
If you part it out, there is no reason you couldn't make more than $380.
How much more depends on how good any of the parts are.

A 68 should have a 9" unless it is one of the rare Dana's. I think you would make more parting it out
