in 69 ford used a set of adaptor soacers that went onto the front of the head which allowed toy to use the 302 accessories....this is stock. i got a set of world windsor sr heads chead but the holes are different and the spaces/adaptors don't match.

so is there a way to make this work?

I think most of the small block heads (Ford) from 78 up have an adapter that screws into the hole kind of like a heli coil, they use them on the front of the heads and bolt the air injection to the rear. If you find a good Ford parts man he should be able to get them. Sometimes you can extract them from a used head. Strange they were not included with the heads.

interestingly enough, i bought these heads used so i didn't have the instruction sheet that goes with them. well i found it (above) online and the piece was listed on it (bottom left under...accessories). 50 dollars later and calling a few area ford dealers got me the patt. it was a helicoil looking thing that went into the hole. thanks for the good advice....it was right on the money....50 bucks for these 2 little plugs!
but you gotta do what you gotta do, ya know.

i feel kinda dumb but if i had the sheet in the first place it wouldn't of been a problem.
