I've got a 351w going into my 67 fastback. The #s on the block are: D1AE-6015 DA 77. Didn't Ford stop putting Windsors in Mustangs in 70 and went with the Cleveland in 71? What other vehices came with the Windsor in 71? Thanks for the help

I believe that C motors did replace the W motor in 70 model stangs...although I have people who say they have seen 70 stangs that came with 351W 2V. I guess that could be since the only C motor in 70 was the 4V version of the engine. The 351W came in other Ford cars thru out the 70s and 80's.

The Mustang/Fairlanes/Torinos Got 351 2 & 4V Clevelands, starting '70. Possibly a few of the 2V were Windsors. The 351 Windsor 2V was in in the full size Fords, starting '69 and was used for several years. My dad had a '71 Galaxie with the 351 Windsor.
