Would a 73 F-100 Trailer Special with a 390 cu. have a locking rearend I can see it is a 9". I can't get under it right now to see the tag, no wheels on it.... The axles have the two dints drilded into them, and it does have front disc. It also has A/C would the brackets work on a 460 to mount the pump (its a 390 ). Non running and is missing some parts all ready and he wants $500. for it.. (dash stuff, dizzy, master cylender, missisng).
I would like to convert my front to disc, and it would have the heaver springs (as the ones I have on mine now are from a 72 6 cyl. F-100)
What do you think??

I'll bet the best you get with an F100 CS, is a limited slip non locking rear...

Well that would be better than the open I have now right??
I have another question If I take a 1/2 a coile out of the front springs will it stiffen it up as well as drop it some??

nope... It will loosen it up as well as drop it.....

Stiffer ride you want the 3/4 ton springs, then cut it, and you can be lower and stiffer.... 3/4 ton heavy duty springs are $56 bucks for the pair if you shop around juuuuust right.
