I just read part 3 on the engine buildup and wanted to say I had similar driveabilty issues with my cam in my 5.0 when I installed it...I was able to solve the problem by installing what is called an "Idle Air Bypass" it basically is a small plate bolted between the TB and IAC which allows the user to turn a couple of allen screws and thus allowing more air to enter the intake.My "rolling idle and surge" were gone immediately.Just a suggestion.
I bought the bypass from Steeda and it was $18.95 It is also a factory Ford part.
