Hi All, I just got the 90 HO in the garage and got it started today. this weekend it's fresh gas and test the AOD before I strip it out for the engine / tranny and the harness for my Ranchero. I could use an ID on these 5 plugs just to make sure they aren't needed for my swap. my buddy says the two lower ones are the computer test plugs. The two center ones have cut wires ??? and the top one is also a mystery to me. Any help ? TIA

He's correct about the lower ones being the test plugs. If nobody else replies, give me the wire colors for the other plugs and I'll look them up in my manual for you.

Thanks 89 trooper, I may take you up up on that down the road. I wish I had a decent Ford manual instead of the haynes but money is tight for the projects since I retired
Thats why I plan on building my own harness from the Mustang's one. My proposed build will take me at least 2 years, old and slow, but the combo may be as follows.
Freshened up 89 5.0 HO with a set of new, which I have, GT40P heads
90 AOD which I'll rebuild with some goodies
3:50 Tract Lok which I have already rebuilt
Delete cats, smog pump, A/C, engine fan, and maybe the EGR??
