Damn budget car! I have good ones on my 64. Ok, I will at least go for some harland sharp RRockers. Gerrrrr....

Stock rockers for me. I've had no problems with them or the stock pushrods, I don't see a need to spend extra money there.

I have had a few sets of cheap FE rockers, don't buy off brand, they wear quickly and never fit right.

Harland Sharp are good, Comps are fine. However, if you have stock rockers and a limited budget, I would look at buying end stands and running stock rockers before I bought aftermarket rollers.

If you can afford to do both, even better

Here is the example of the end stand, it makes the shaft more stable, keeping it from flexing. These and a set of Harland Sharps or Comp would be just about perfect for any hot street FE

FWIW I run stock hyd rockers on my 445 with end stands and stock style Melling pushrods. On my 489 I run Ersons (not available anymore) which have a very similar end support setup. I went aftermarket on that one because its .600 lift and spins a lit higher.
