I am looking to replace my transmission and was wondering who you guys think makes the best aftermarket C4 that can handle around 450hp. It is going in my 65 Fastback.

In my 65 I went with an AOD built with the wide ratio gear upgrade 2.84 1st and 1.55 2nd and still get great crusing rpm and better fuel milage hwy

If I was you I would go for a properly built AOD. Of course this all depends on what your going to be doing with the car. If drag only then go with the C4. But if your going to be doing a lot of street/hwy driving then AOD is a lot better...if it is built right.
