I find that car distastefull and nasty!

I think the wheels are yuck
there are no interrior shots, more pictures of crap that's not for sale that there is of the car he want's to sell....
He want's $35K just to start? What a tard, he'll never even come close in my opinion...
That car's worth maybe $5,500 (counting the "crate" 460 in it...)

The only thing I find appealing about that car is the fact that it used to be a Galaxie, and the Color is incredible for that body style.

These comments are only my opinions which are sometimes called tasteless, so please don't be offended, it's just that I get offended by anyone calling a piece of junk like that worth that much money...

Already has $55-60K in this car!
This guy is

With $55 to $60 thousand dollars into ANY car it would not be unfinished... Utterly rediculous...

I think it's pretty cool, nice paint. You'd have to a) be rich and b) really like that idea of car to buy it. Not really my taste entirely, well not enough for almost 60 grand. It shoulda had alot more pics for the money, you'd think you'd want to highlight why it's selling for that much.

He actually is the "poster car" for MP Brakes adds in some of the car mags. I like it. The wheels may be a little too big but the rest of the car that I can see is pretty sweet. But then again I am kinda for shaving trim and emblems. Color is to bling for me but as a whole it does look rather intimidating. I've only seen one Gal that I detested, and that was the '65 with the 20" lift that was on Ebay a couple months ago. That I thought was fugly!

Well in my opinion, it is a pretty good looking car, wheels and all.
It is really no different than Fakesnake's in concept, just done to a '64 instead. And I reckon his is fantastic too!

Big wheels are in I'm going with the 18/20 combo. I think That car is sick!!!!! the reason the car has no pics of the inside is its not complete! I do like the shaved emblems& mouldings that looks so clean the only thing i hate about is the exsht' that does look like S**T !! if i paid 60k for it he would have to change the midas exhst!!!
Who's to say that guy won't get 60k out of that car! I say he has almost that in the car! you guys know !!! how much you ask 4 your car if you sold it??

I would ask a reasonable price not what I got into it... Think about it guy's... He can ask all he want's but if he's got $50K into it and it's not complete he's got a bunch of IDIOTS doing the work.

I restore EVERYTHING from cars to antique radios... This guy is a tard thinking it's worth 35K!

I hope he get's his asking price and more! But, I feel sorry for the person buying it... He's getting screwed royally.

The car is in Vegas - what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas! Think the owner dropped a load in the casino somewhere and now he owes Vinnie some big bucks? Man, the only way I'd have 50K in my car is if I held up the bank and tossed the dough in the trunk! I guess it goes back to what they say - beauty is in the eye of the beholder (or a fool and his money). Personally, I don't think that car is anywhere near Fakesnake's car stylewise, and I gotta agree with FE about the dough - to pour that much money into it and still have an interior and trunk to go ( . . . "spent 2 grand on sandpaper alone&quot

As always just my opinion, but I think the negative opinions about this car are ridiculous. I have just recently finished a 64 galaxie street machine myself. I don't mean to brag but my car won best in class and best of show at the recent Galaxie Nats in Springfield. I really poured a lot of time effort and money into my car. I have not seen this car for sale but just by the description it shares alot of the same features that I have included on my car. I can talk from experience on this. The money this guy has into this car is very easy to understand and I bet his estimate is low because we all tend to lie to ourselves about these things. The current asking price for this project would be a steal for a buyer.

I just wanted to add one more thing. I showed my car at Chicago World of Wheels this past weekend. There were some great cars and some mega dollar show cars. I think my car can hold its own at a show like this. I had to notice that other than the usual mustangs there was no fords present at this show and other than mine no Galaxies. So where are the nice Galaxies? We could use them to compete with all the not so nice Camaros and Chevelles. Just a thought.

Any chance of a pic, or a link to your car?
I love them all, so I wont pick on it. I started this thread remember?

Oh yeah, there was one I didn't think too much about, and that was that rediculous looking '65 a couple months back. I agree with the guys on that one!

I just hope the owner of that galaxie is not a member because i would be pissed if i spent that much time & $ and when to a galaxie forum to read someone calling my car a pos!!
Have some respect this is not a f&f car bashing forum just because you don't like it don't mean you have to say bad things about it! if the guy does have 50 in the why in the h**l would he ask 30? would you?

What?
I could care less! Genuinely!

If he were my friend or buddy the car would have simply been finished LONG before he spend $50 FRIGGIN GRAND on it!

I KNOW what it takes.

I can definitely go to Roush or Foose or some other High Dollar Fancy Schmancy Chrome plated BS place and have them spend $50K to restore a vehicle and MOD it.

But, restoring a personal car would NEVER take that kind of money ESPECIALLY since 100% of the car is nothing but AFTERMARKET supplies readily made for anyone who wants to bag a car and pop on fiberglass hood and fenders, throw out some.
Paint jobs, he said someting like $15K... That's a good solid price if the car wasTOTALED before the paint job! Just stupid. And there is already a bidder, what a friggin tard.

I hope he does see this post...

Lets see, 15k for paint and body, 10k for motor, 2k for tranny, 1.5K for wheels and tires...that's just getting started. I can see high dollar amounts being spent. Hell with all the do it once and then do it again with something a little different than before, I am closing in on 40K. But then again my car is pretty much done inside and out. I could see that paint job and mainly body work costing atleast 15k. I started keeping track when I first got my car but when I changed the tranny out after rebuilding the first one and exploding it and then being on my third set of wheels and tires in 1400 miles I stoped. You really can't add stuff that isn't currently on the car. Unless you can figure a way to run two trannys and 12 tires and wheels. Did I spend it on the car...YES. So really I have that much into the car's total cost but not really IN the car. Am I making sense? I'm starting to confuse myself. :^)
