Wow. Thanks for the picture. A couple of questions on this set up.

1) Is the regulator on the back of the 3G alternator? That is, can I elliminate the one on the fender apron with this set up?

2)Is the extended lower mount compatible with a passenger side lower radiator hose? (My current set up comes very close to the hose.)

Thanks!

you can use GM alts either the CS or latest series of alternators, they are 3 wire which works way better than 1 wire.
i bought a 97 camaro alt. that puts out 80 amps for 25 bucks.
go to madelectrical.com for conversion kit.
mark at Mad is a ford guy & has all kinds of remedys for Fairlane wiring, including alt kits, headlight relay kits, etc.
