[64squire]

I'm new to this group and have a 1964 Country Squire. I'm surprised how well it handles, but would like to improve on it. I'm used to driving my 1972 TR6 with a 302 and a !965 Cortina GT.

I found a 1 5/16" front bar at this company and was wondering if anyone has one. It is listed for 57 -64 Fords and Mercurys about 3/4 of the way down on the page.

hoo doggies that's expensive. I'm sure there is an alternative to that one somewhere for much less. I could be wrong though. Yours has like a 1" now right?
I wonder if a junkyard donor like a newer Tbird or Mustang or something would work instead or also?

I got mine from Performance Suspension Technologies (GMax Sway Bars) Mine was $149. I believe that they have a 1" diameter one that would fit your car.
