I'm using a dart block plumbed for priority main oiling ( in through the back of the block. I'm also running solid roller lifters and roller rockers. I also have a .040" hole in the plug facing the distributor gear for gear oiling. Anyway I have a few hours of run time on the engine but I don't feel that I am getting enough oil to the top end. Barely noticeable oil flow coming out of the rockers even at 80 psi when hot. I have an external wet sump poiling sytem with 60 psi+ at idle and 80 psi all the rest of the time. I had an .080" restrictor in the oil feed line going to the lifter galley in the front of the block . I have pulled the intake and am considering not putting a restrictor in that spot at all. Anyone running a restrictor to the top end? I am just wondering if I leave the front restrictor out if it will be too much oil to the top end . My pump is an extremely high volume unit and probably won't notice the restrictor bring gone but I don't want to flood the valve covers.
