Just fired a fresh engine.Brand new barry grant 2 port reg.Has run total of about 20 mins now there is no way the reg will seal off. There is nothing foreign stuck in it.
What type of seal is there on the seat ? Since i dont think you can get it apart i cant see the lower side of the valve where it seats.
Anyone else had issues like this??????

Wern,t you running a holley 150 pump?
With the new aeromotive pump, the BG 2 port I had wouldn,t seal off either. Went with an aeromotive return style reg. Problem solved. Runs steady as a rock.

Great to hear you got her fired up Greg.

Yep all running now .I got a magnaflow reg which is much nicer anyway.Just can't wait to go fro a drive now
I'm using the big holley 350 dominator pump.
Prob have to lean it up a little it smells a bit rich at the moment. How is your dominator set up? Jetting etc .I got a 1090 King Demon,hope it's ok.

So is the BG reg on another car?

I,m running a HP950 on mine and it smells like it,s running slightly rich too. I,ll get that sorted on the dyno when the C6 is back in.
