Last night i went to go cruising in my mustang, only to realize that the battery was dead. Or at least it didnt have enough charge to turn the engine over. I had a friend jumpstart me and the car seemed fine, but as i was driving the headlights became dimmer and dimmer until the engine cutout. I ended up leaving it at my friends house after numerous jumpstarts. I still have not figured out what drained the battery.
I have recently replaced the alternator and battery, so i dont think that they are the problem. I will really appreciate anyone's advice.

Have the new Alternator tested and put in a new regulator. I have had autozone rebuilt alternators last less then 10 minutes. But you have a definate charging issue. Always replace Alt and regulator together.
