Does anyone know if you have to use a special flexplate with the ultra bell.I currently use the famed 351m bell with .250 block spacer to get my clearance and I know that gives me around 6.250 from block to pump and JW says the ulta bell is 7 inches.Getting info from them is a pain,They didnt know the answers without measuring the bell and that seemed like to trouble for them.So I am asking here if anybody has experence with this upgrade.I dont realy want to build another converter,I already have over $1100 in it!! Thanks for your help!

C-4 and its behind a 510 inch BBF,alum. CJ heads,.770 lift 284 Dur @50 roller,13.2 to 1 compression,1050 carb in a 81 Fairmont Futura,Back half 4 link,3060lbs.w/driver ,has run [email protected] 1.26 60ft. 1/8 mile.What I need is a SFI bell because I dont want to cut the firewall for a crappy shield.Just FYI I have 96 passes on the trans and going to refresh and see how its doing and want to upgrade the bellhousing to SFI.

performance automatic in gaithersburg, md. or ati perf parts in balt md. sfi bell designed to be used with the C4.
