I have an 8.8 inch rear out of an 86 stang GT, When i took off the inspection plate I realized there was no limited slip diff. What is the best aftermarket diff for my application? I have a fi 302 backed by a c4.
If the thing is driven daily go with Auburn Pro or Eaton limited. I've been running a lock right in a stock 8.8 in can get very violent. Lockers are nice but can get hair when the weather changes. Th noise of the locker slaping back after turning a corner also can be quit loud. If a locker is what you want go with Detroit it's been around for years the name says it all.
