Hey all,

Always had a soft spot for the cartoon character betty boo
so does anyone know where I can get hold of a gear shifter knob, (about the size of a snooker ball) with a Betty Boo cartoon character on it?

I am guessing this will be a custom made knob so if anyone knows any good suppliers can you let me know please.

Unusual question I know but i thought id ask!

Regards,
Martyn

Buy a copy of Old Skool Rodz magazine and a copy of Car Kulture Deluxe ..both are available in England, and I'm sure that you'll find plenty of Betty Boop shift knobs advertised among plenty of other Good Old Stuff from the '50s-'60s.....

I think you mean betty boop. Here is one I found but there are probably more.

I didn't see anything in the Nov issue of Ol' Skool Rodz but might of over looked it. But if you like "Mater" from the movie "Cars" there is a build article on that entitled "mater the ratrod wrecker" and there is an article on a '40 truck. The picture in the story was taken at the only gas station in town in Boron, CA. They had all kinds of ratrods cool cars there last year for a show. I missed this years. I was looking at the pic and noticed I knew 2 of the vehicles positively then realized I knew the place too. So had to buy that one!

Try this! Then search their catalog.
Select "Dress Up Parts" and it'll be on that first page.

SHIFT KNOB-BLACK-BETTY BOOP
2 1/4" diameter-top quality-USA made

I found a couple other cool knob places that specialize in one or two types while looking for betty.

Flame knobs

Don't think I've ever seen one of rock. For a rock hound this would be the ultimate! Too bad I don't have a gear shift. Maybe if they made them for the dimmer switches.
