I am looking to buy some drag tires that I will use three or four times a year at the drag strip. The rest of the time I will be just cruising the roads. Anyone have any comments on the BF Goodrich Drag Radials or should I by Micky Thompson Drag slicks and just change them out at the strip. I have a 12 to 13 second car depending on if the nitrous is hit. Thanks.

Yes, If your only going to use them 3-4 times a year you would be better off buying full slicks and changing them out when you race.

The BF Drag Radials are not good to run in rain,so you would really not have a good tire for most of the time you spend in the car.

It will cost you more to have two sets of tires, but at least you will be safe.
