Been a while. The CrownVic swap was a huge failure & a kick in the nuts. The track width is WAY TOO WIDE for a Galaxie. The only way around it was going to be stupid wheels or an equally stupid narrowed crossmember. I have a 60" Heidts Mustang 2 crossmember & Speedway tubular A-arms. I did a side by side comparison of the Speedway & Heidts parts in the showroom & the Soeedway stuff looks good. I did opt for Willwood forged spindles with 2" of drop for strength over the Speedway spindles. I also deleted the shocks & springs from the kit. I may cut up the top hat to accept a true coilovers or run the QA1 "mustang II" coilovers. Not sure. As soon as I get situated in the new shop I'm tearing back into this thing to fix it. Seriously thinking about going to a small block & manual 5 speed for weight reduction. Going to add a few glass parts up front to the same end, weight reduction.
