Is there any place out there that has 2.75 or 3" tailpipes available for a 66 Mustang. I really like the idea of big pipes but things look awfully tight underneath. I've seen what the local shop did with the old 2.25 inch pipes and it scared me.
I woulden't even let a job like that leave my shop, nevermind charge for it. I know Flowmaster has a nice set of 2.5" mandrel bent tails but ireally wanted bigger for a possable 351 stroker motor in the future. Also are ther any Good shops in the central/north NJ area that may be up to the task.

There are pre-bent universal fit pipes available from Flow Master. They are fully mandrel bent. There also several kinds of mandrel bent shapes shuch as U's and O's, that can be used to fab your own. They can be purchased from JC Whitney as well as other auto parts stores.

Has anyone tried the universal kits in an older Mustang with good luck. If it has been done successfully I'd be willing to give that a shot.
