Does anybody know is this steering gear really better than original?
and how about the maintenance... is this box dimensions just than original Gran Torino box?

Borgeson advert: Box will fit 68-71 Ford Torino & Gran Torino... Years must be -72... up if they really meant Gran Torino !

Sorry my mistake... looks that steering gear (how Borgeson works) is technically same than -72... Torino / Montego / Cyclone original.
Borgeson has build this box for older Fords upgrades.

It's very difficult to find better steering systems or make any updates to old steering.
If you have any ideas don't hesitate to inform me... I'm happy to find "better" steering system to my -72 (...up) Torino

Just got my conversion done, I love it. The rag joint sticks into the cab a little and the factory lower bracket hits, so I used spacers and washers to recess it and everything works great.

I've been doing the Borg on the 60s Mustangs and they work great.

Yes, I have the Borgeson steering conversion on my Ranchero and love it. MUCH better than anything stock.

Let me know if you want more details.
