Yeah, that's right. I'm using a 78 cougar disc brake system on my 65 Galaxie to convert it from drum to disc. Problem is, I cant find braided flex lines for this application. What part would this part interchange with directly? It needs to have the same ends.

None I know of. You'll need to use brake-to-AN adapters and run a braided line of appropriate length. Earls and Russell both have them in their product listings.

Check out russell or earls ,They have universal lines with 3an fittings on each end and the adapter fittings that go on each ends. Just make sure that you get the right fittings.
No one makes the set for my 71 pinto either to my knowledge, so when I found out i was stoked!. Now I have braided lines on my stock 71!

Thanks, looks like that is what I'll just have to do. Unless 78 Cougars get popular with the performance market all of a sudden...........nah, dont think so !
