I am starting to clean the parts off the donar car to put disc brakes on my 65 galaxie. I found the brake fluid in the donar cars resevior to be black. Figuring the fluid to be contaminated, I immersed the combination valve for the brakes into my parts washer to clean it all out, not thinking about what the mineral spirits will do to any rubber seals inside. Did I ruin that combination valve?
