I have a question and probably won't get an answer on this one due to being unique.
Here's the appication, 1962 Galaxie with F-100 Booster (71 I think) and a 76 Cougar master and running 76 Cougar front 11' discs.
Here's the problem, Brakes stop fine, no air in system, rears have been bled and shoes adjusted and about a 1/2 free play (travel) in brake pedal, Pedal height is lower than the the old system when stepping on the brakes.
I take the travel is more in the cougar master than the old jelly jar and thus causing the problem. I did not have an original power booster for my 62 in order to compare travel. If memory serves me correct, wasn't there an arm on those boosters to increase the travel to the booster? I have my booster connected directly via pedal rod only.
Guess's
