My brake pedal went to the floor the other day as I was driving and now hardly stops the truck at all. Fortunately it got a little mushy 1-2 stops before so I was ready for it.
It is in a 1974 Ford Bronco (no power brake booster, 4 wheel drum brakes, ford 9" rear, dana 44 front).
The fluid is still full in the master cylinder and there is no apparent leakage. How can I tell if air got in the lines (it sees quite a few bumps and maybe some worked in from the MC?) or if the master cylinder is bad?
Thanks.
