When I installed this proportioning valve years ago I cleverly labelled the top of the knob "R" and "F" with a clockwise arrow pointing to the "R". Now I want to make an adjustment but can't remember if the arrow means faster or slower braking to the rear.
Is there a standard?

I have the Wilwood proportioning valve which looks similar to yours. I don't know why you marked yours with an "F"(front?) and "R"(rear?) as it only supplies fluid to the rear.

With mine, opening the valve (counterclockwise) allows more brake fluid to reach the rear brakes, hence more stopping power at the rear and less at the front. Closing (clockwise) reduces the amount of fluid going to the rear brakes and allows more stopping power to the front and less at the rear.
