Everyone knows how to do brakes??

I've done quite a few brake jobs before including master cylinders, but never an entire new system from scratch.... Here's the situation:

In converting the '88 from 2.3 to 5.0, everything gets completely drained and re-assembled. Installed new pads & shoes, new booster/master, and new brake cylinders on the rear.

Bled the brakes all around, but still have a lot of pedal travel before brake engagement. Used the 2 man method of pressure on pedal, release bleeder, tighten bleeder, let up pedal, and repeat.

Any suggestions on how to get my pedal hard?

You might have air in the proportioning valve. Make sure you have the caliper bleeders on the top. If you accidentally switch the calipers from left to right the bleeder will be on the bottom. Making it impossible to get the air out.

Thanks for the note! Calipers are on right side up.... I'll try bleeding out the prop. block.
