I have a 68 fairlane 500 GT and i cant get the break lights to triger the runing lights work and i have replaced the switch and still nothing so i dont know if im mising somthing or what.

Check fuses?
Got power at one side of the brake switch? use a simple test light.
Do rear turn signals work?

Could also be the turn signal switch as the brake lights are routed through it.

I have replaced all of my fuses and I have power at one side but my turn signals do not work anywhere on the vehicle

Bad turn signal switch and/or wiring problem.
Could have a bad or missing flasher, but that would not affect brake lights.

Happened in my 64 Country Sedan turned out it was the turn signal switch in the steering column.
