I drilled and tapped for a 1/8 NPT adapter fitting then ran a -6 line to the breather can.

Mount the breather can in the trunk. That way if something does go wrong and, for whatever reason, it spews fluid out of the breather can it will be behind the rear tires. Tranny fluid being sprayed all over the track in front of the tires can lead to an unfortunate event...

Spewing behind the rear tires is good for you but creates misfortune for the next guy down that lane.

The whole point of a breather tank is to NOT spew anything. Ever!
