Hi Everyone, after putting the engine/trans back in the 1968 Mercury Montego today, I tried to install the power steering center link into the already mounted, loctited, and torqued idler arm. I got the stud in a bind, and broke off part of the idler arm bearing.

Now what, should I...

A) Just live with it, the washer will be over the end of it, most of which is still there, and maybe dab it with grease from time to time?
B) Press out and press in a new bearing, if possible, and if available, please recommend where to find?
C) Upgrade to roller bearings, I read something about that while searching the topic, or is this unit already upgraded? I can't remember if this is Moog, or not, and if I got it at Mac's, although I probably did.
D) Sleeve it, by putting a larger piece of tubing over it, which will still be under the washer?
E) Just replace it?

Thanks!

Being a steering component, I'd be making sure that you have good parts. I'd be buying a new one.
