Are the torino and mustang bucket seats the same. Will the (new)skin for a 70 mustang M/1 fit a 70 torino C/J seat. The seats are going in a 65 fairlane so the seat pattern will not matter.

No not exactly the same.The Mustang seats are tapered at the headrest, where the Torino seats are more square at the top of the seat .The bottoms are about the same.Just make sure you buy the covers for the saets you have.They will work either way but may need to be taylored to fit.
