Hey guys first post on here, I have a 351c in a 1974 Gran Torino. Love the car but the 2v engine leaves a little to be desired. Ive been piecing this together now for a few months and Id like some opinions on hydraulic f/t camshafts and your experiences.

1970 4v cc cylinder heads
Weiand High rise tunnel ram intake
2x Holley 600cfm 4 barrels
4v Exhaust manifolds

What are you building it for? Race or street performance? For street a 408 stroker kit with the v4 heads and a healthy retro fit Hydraulic cam and dual Fitech EFI. That way you get the dual quad look and the drivability of the EFI .The larger displacement will help get that big Torino moving.Roger

I'd go with the 393 stroker kit. With 4V heads and a Blue Thunder intake, you can still have street manners and awesome torque. A hydraulic cam in the mid range will be complimentary and a good ignition. The Blue Thunder
manifold is critical for streetability.

from looking at your proposed combo:

1970 4v cc cylinder heads
Weiand High rise tunnel ram intake
2x Holley 600cfm 4 barrels
4v Exhaust manifolds

this must not be a street car, correct? because that would be pretty bad at moving a big car around at part throttle.
