has anyone ever had the pump seize to the case.....

the bellhousing is off all the bolts are out and no matter what I do the pump will not come out....

This thing has been soaking in penatrating oil for hours?????

Please help....

remove the pan and valve body and pry apart between the rear planatary and the drive shell it will push the pump out the front of the case, just make sure that you have all of the bolts out of the pump first. good luck

Yes. I hit the snout with a rubber (only use rubber!) dead blow mallet, while prying on it with a prybar (in betwen the input shell and the reverse planetary) at the same time. Make sure you have a couple bolts partially in, so the pump doesnt fall on the floor.

You did try to pry it out with a prybar or large screwdriver first, right? If that way dosent work, then try the mallet.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a pain in the a**....

I have done several c-4 before and never had a pump stick like this one did....
With a little more persistance I finally got it out... there was a ton of corrossion were the pump went into the case....

Thanks for all the help
