hey im new here. ive got a 1969 mustang with floor shifter..i have a c-4 transmission. i cant get linkage to work. my rod on the transmission is pointed down. if it was pointed up i think linkage arm would work. is it possible to rotate up? thanks
You can simply rotate it but the length will be different.
An easier method is to drill another hole in the arm and attach a piece of flat metal to it pointing up. Use the existing hole plus the new one to bolt it together.
You will have to play hide and seek until you get the proper length.
