My PA torque converter bit the dust. Not going to buy a other. I have a well built 347 in my 89 Mustang. In looking for a goog converter (3400 SP) I came across RevMax. Their web site talks a good story but..... I am looking for a good converter for street / strip use under $500 if possible. Any suggestions would be welcome!

Well, I called both Broader and Revmax. Both guys were willing to talk with some explanation of how torque converters work. But in the long run I went with Coan. This was after a great exchange of e-mails and a complete profile of my car, engine build an my intended purposes for my car. None of the others went that far.

It was finally recommended that I go with their Maximum Performance torque converter which will be custom built and set up with a 3,600rpm stall speed. ($695 plus shipping)

Now if I can get my C4 Back from PA I should be in great shape!
