Newbie here again. I am replacing the gasket and filter on my 66' C4. Can anyone tell me the tightening pattern and torque specs for the 11 bolt pan. Also any other simple pointers that I may want to do while I have the pan off. Seems like the bolt hole locations on the pan are slightly bent maybe do to previous over tightening. Simple fix to this, or do I need a new pan? Thanks, Jim

Lay the pan on a solid surface with the gasket area down.

Now using a drift and hammer pound the pan rail until it is flat.

There is no real sequence.
The torque is 12-16 foot pounds.
Start at one corner and tighten each bolt a bit until that amount of torque has been reached.
Do not use any grease or sealant on the gasket.
