I'm just finishing rebuilding my C4 transmission and I laid the pump down and this little pin fell out of the pump housing and I have no idea where it goes back to. I have all the manuals and none of them show this pin...... Any body seen it before?

It is an convertor anti balloon pin.
I don't think they lasted very long.

The transmission must have had a shift kit installed at one time.


Sorry but I can't remember which hole it goes into.


You should be able to look into a hole and see a mark.
