New to this C4/C5 thing so bear with me.

I'm looking to build a manual valve body auto for my 93' "C" Prepared Mustang that I race in SCCA Solo Events.

The plan is to use a C5 case, C4 convertor & valve body.

If I want to use a SFI bell housing will it be case or pump mounted?

The JW sfi bellhousings are always pump mount but will fit either the pan fill or case fill cases..
Even the panfill case with the extra flange for the bellhousing mount, those holes aren't used, the bell will bolt to the pump.Just be sure to use correct length bolts.
Hope that make sense.

Or yes you could do a c4 complete and drill the lube hole at the #9 thrust and put in a c5 sungear would give similar results..
