Re-assembling the carrier for my 9" Trac-Lok. I am in need of 2 of the ring gear bolts - grade 8 - as well as 2 hardened washers to go with them but I will buy all 10 if available.

Everywhere I have tried to source around here have a smaller (by 1/4"
length (no buss between threads and head) and the head is actually larger. This is an OEM Ford ring gear 3.25/1 ratio. Any ideas would help.
Thanks

I always use FORD for that kind of stuff. Call your local ford parts guy and they might have them in old stock. I have been lucky doing that.

First they're old, get all new ones. ARP is the best way to go. A little money here won't hurt you. Might save a whole lot of problems down the line.

A couple of solutions other than the above...
You need the longer posi bolt. Try this part number at Summit: RAT-1305
Also, contact Randy's Ring and Pinion or Currie Enterprises.

The older 9" bolt from Ford Motorsport got discontinued a while back.

Thanks guys. Ordered a new set from the Jegs. Can't seem to get 'em anywhere in Canada, including Ford. Didn't want to risk problems down the road so replacing them all with new ones from ARP.

I guess it's too late, but we have a store here in the 'big city' (Columbus, Ga.) called Fastenall. They have every fastener you could possibly want. Great store.
