i need to take the column shifter off of the steering column. only temperarily though. i dont see any bolts holding it in place and can not figure it out. right where it goes through the metal cover there is a hole in the shifter that seems to have a really small tube that im guessing the shifter pivots on or something. do i just drill that out? if so how would i re install the shifter? i really need this thing out because it is in the way of me test fitting the dash i built for the car.

nvm got it out. found out it was a pin that i had to punch out.
