Did you sew your husband a cover? I'm also thinking to try my hand at this after looking at dozens of covers and thinking I could do better lol. If you did sew one, do you mind telling us for what car/truck, what size dimensions more or less and how you dealt with the bottom of it i.e. elasticized, buckles, grommets etc? I'm familiar with waterproofing sprays and think I could make a soft breathable multi layer waterproof cover more to my custom needs for outdoors. Let us know how it went and what machine you used!
I figured this was as good a place as any to make my first post. I own a 1967 Fastback that I inhereted from my father that he purchased in 1994. It isn't an all original car by any means but it's all there but the time has come to do something with it or there won't be...
Does anyone remember the slicks that were sold in the 70's or 80's that had the humorous text on the side walls?
Torque Twisten, Tire Smoken, Axle Bustin etc.
If I could get a picture, that would make a great avatar.
I just finished up my engine bay, its all most perfect ! all original "restored" number matching 390 big block 4bbl, with a factory 4 speed gear box floor shift very rare, also the interior color is rare ivy/gold, I hope you enjoy it,
