I purchased a set of used Twisted Wedge heads. They have a high amount of carbon build-up in the runners, chamber, valve seats, & back side of valves. This is a pretty thick build-up. Will this hamper performance and what is the best and easiest way to remove the carbon. I've tried choke/parts cleaner and the carbon on the valve seats is not coming off. I do plan to have a valve job done before re-assembling the valvetrain. I do not have time to port them. Also the heads were machined for o-ring gaskets, what should the depth of the o-ring grove be? It seems very shallow when looking at the o-ring on the gaskets.
Thanks, sorry for being so long.
