I'm putting together a 289 engine for my 65 mustang and I'm using a ford motorsport performance intake. I want to use the autolite 4100 carb. Do I need a spacer between the carb and intake? If so what kind? Is there one that allows for the vacuum connection for the pcv valve.

thx, dave

You can buy a spacer that has a pcv port out the back. You shouldnt have to run one but it will give you better atomization of the fuel.

Can I use the old spacers with the four holes or do I need a new one with a large square like the intake manifold?

thx, dave
