i am changing from v belts to serpentine belts on my early 302.my crank pulley has three bolts the crank pulley i got the other day has four bolts . any help

i took every thing i needed to change my 69 302 over to a serpentine belt from a 79 LTD.Some early 302's had a 4 bolt balencer.I saw a nid 70's pickup with a 4 bolt

I could be wrong, but I think the 4 bolt balancers are 50oz. and the three bolt one ar 28oz. It matters which one you use. I don't remember the cut-off year for 50oz but methinks is was early '80's.

generally, '82-up are 50 oz, 68-82 are 28 oz. Some were 4 bolt 28oz some were 3 bolt 28 oz. I've got both the 3 and 4 bolt balancers, seems that the 4-bolt is the most common.
