Hello,

What's a good product to use when cleaning a metal dash? I don't want to use anything that will damage the surface.

Don't know of anything that would hurt it unless you used some harsh cleaner on it. Just soap and water or vinegar and water etc like wiping off the kitchen table. And a soft cloth not anything abrasive.
