HI all
What are some of the causes of clutch chatter.. grease, oil, hot spots. Anythnig esle??

Usually it's a weak or worn out pressure plate. If you're going to replace the pressure plate, you may as well go ahead and replace the entire clutch assembly.

yes the Pilot and the Thro out baren are being replaced as well as Pressure plate and clutch and reserfaceing the fly wheel. A shop is doing it right now (I didn't want to get under it its getting cold here (low last night was 21 high today is only low 40's ) and its the wifes Concord). Just checking in case the shop guy call's with something.

Loose pressure plate....that was what I found on mine.

Glazed from sliping the clutch. out of adjustment. residue, oil, old and worn out like me, lots of things.

Well I got it back the shop guy said it was a rebuilt one that was in it so I guessing a weak prusher plate. he said the disc look to be still in purity good shape..
